This was designed to be part of a full poetry unit. These three poems are from the book Hip Hop Speaks to Children edited by Nikki Giovanni. By using PowerPoint I designed a presentation that was powerful and engaging to students. I focused on color choice, attention grabbing illustrations, typeface, and memorability.
I developed and instructed our cohort group in this Webinar which teaches the learner how to use audio editing software called Audacity. I collaborated with a dynamic team to create learning that was also fun! This webinar was hosted and recorded with Adobe Connect.

This EdWeb class is designed to help parents of dyslexic students study for spelling at home. Many times, parents struggle helping their children and feel powerless. This class will empower parents and give them a helping hand with homework.

Story
Comic books are a way to deliver information to children that will inspire them, teach them, and keep them engaged. This child friendly handout is part of a volcano unit for third grade. It is one piece to a full volcano unit that will end with an explosive demonstration using model volcanos and a research report.
A Pecha Kucha is a presentation where 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each. My presentation teaches an audience how to take an amazing and safe vacation to Yellowstone. I focused on making "sticky" design decisions, unified layouts with multiple images, and providing the viewer with background information that will excite them about beautiful Yellowstone Park.
This inspiring story takes the students on a journey to the day Crater Lake was made. It is designed to be part of a large earth science unit. The students will be able to tell us how volcanos shape history and explore how folktales and legends are created.
This project management paper and matching website is the result of a semester-long project. Our team, eLearnable, took a project from project application to project proposal. This project reflects project process, research, project management organization, leadership, and communication.

Technology has changed the face of education. This project was the result of a team effort. It explores high-impact technology tools. My contribution to this team project was primarily the videos and presentation of the project. I wrote, produced, and edited the videos using iMove. I contributed in the research, editing, and team discussion on the paper.
I created a mobile website for my students and their families. I am now working at a school who services many families that do not have access to technology. This project is for parents who have a smart phone or tablet. Most of the parents at my school have smart phones and will let their kids play on them. I wanted to give them a tool to use that will reinforce the essential skills for first grade.

This change project focuses on empowering individual teachers and grade level teams with economic struggles. I built a website that will help teachers fundraise in an academic and fun way.

This action research project is currently under progress. I have posted my proposal and my literature review.
This project uses Mobymax.com to build fact fluency and meet the needs of a young primary group of students. It explores using technology-assisted fact practice as an intervention.

This Copyright website is a professional development class and a resource page. It is the result of an internship. Teachers are now venturing into multiple forms of publication where knowledge of Copyright law becomes essential to making ethical decisions. This site takes many copyright sites and information out there and puts it into an organized teacher-friendly resource.
