Gretchen Kasameyer DVM

Dr. Kasameyer has been a veterinarian since 1997 after graduating from our own Colorado State University. After graduation, she spent a year in Caribou, Maine then worked at Cheyenne Mountain Animal Hospital for 25 years.  She had a brief respite from the daily commute from Denver to work at the Animal Hospital Center, a 24 hour emergency center in Denver, until she returned to the Springs and she has been here ever since!

She enjoys all that Colorado Springs has to offer including hiking, camping, and great motorcycle weather. Dr. Kasameyer is involved in wildlife conservation, environmental stewardship, and trying to keep our government in line! Her own pets have been varied and many but currently she owns Tater and Coleslaw, two sibling English Bull Terriers.

Katie Delafuente

Veterinary Technician

I am currently attending Apex College of Veterinary Technology to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have a special interest in surgery and anesthesia. I have always loved animals and really enjoy being able to work with them and help them every day! Although I love all animals, Corgis have a special place in my heart! At home I have two furr-babies, a corgi named Zeke and a border collie named Zion, one goldfish named charky, and a husband! Outside of work I enjoy playing video games, traveling and most importantly-cuddling my dogs!

Da Silva

Veterinary Technician

I'm from the east coast born in Lowell, Massachusetts. I attended Becker college and transferred to UMass Amherst where I graduated in 2017 in Veterinary studies. I moved out here about 4 months, after graduation to experience what Colorado has to offer. I love the outdoors and pushing myself to new limits! I have a big love for animals especially my cat Honiee and a big heart for food. I'm just trying to experience what life has to offer one step at a time.
